#Roommates, the Louisiana Supreme Court has once again shut down #CMurder’s hopes of freedom.  On Tuesday, the court unanimously refused to hear another appeal of Miller’s 2009 second-degree murder conviction, according to @fox8live.

If you recall, C-Murder is serving a life sentence for the 2002 fatal shooting of then 16-year-old Steven Thomas inside a Harvey, Louisiana nightclub. Over the years, the rapper has repeatedly fought the conviction, pointing to two witnesses who later recanted their testimony and raising questions about DNA evidence tied to the investigation.

However, courts haven’t been moved. Both an appellate court and the Louisiana Supreme Court previously upheld the conviction in 2011 and 2012. This latest request for post-conviction relief was also denied, with the justices stating Miller has already exhausted his options under state law. In their ruling, the court wrote that the rapper “fails to show that any exception permits his successive filing,” making it clear they see no reason to revisit the case. 📹:(@wdamtv ) ✍🏾#TSRStaffAS
