Mascots In 60 Seconds is a fast-paced series exploring the stories, symbols and meanings behind iconic Paralympic mascots from past and present Games.

In this episode, we meet Sondre, the official Paralympic mascot of the Lillehammer 1994 Paralympic Winter Games.

Inspired by Scandinavian folklore, Sondre was the first Winter Paralympic mascot with a visible physical disability and was named after skiing pioneer Sondre Norheim.
