American Councils IVLP on Instagram: "This December, university leaders and senior education officials from Ukraine participated in an #IVLP exchange to explore U.S. strategies for aligning educational programs with evolving labor market demands.

The program began in DC, where participants were welcomed by Robert Post, Director of the Office of International Visitors and U.S. Speaker Program, and received an introduction to the American education landscape.

Subsequent meetings in Cincinnati, Providence, and Boston focused on themes ranging from reskilling adults to industry-academia partnerships to experiential learning. By demonstrating American expertise on this topic and facilitating the sharing of best practices,  this program supported recovery and stability in Ukraine’s education system and workforce. 

Outside of meetings, participants learned about U.S. history and culture and braved the winter chill to explore the historic Breakers mansion ❄️
