Voices rang in agreement to condemn the City of Columbia’s City Council Pedestrian Safety Ordinance last Tuesday at the Missouri Student Association’s second full senate session of the spring semester.

“It’s definitely a representation of, kind of where the Senate is right now, kind of culturally,” said Missouri Student Association Senate Speaker Maggie Funston.“We are speaking out against things that are not only happening on campus, but in our broader community—things that senators see that, you know, are maybe morally or ethically or legally wrong.”
