It was a big add to bring aboard Jackson Bessette, a seasoned backstop with a bevy of college experience. He hit .296/.412/.506 with 47 XBH, 19 HR, 89 RBI in 429 ABs over 3 years at UIC, earning All-MVC honors in 2024. Jackson enjoyed a multi-HR game at Alexander Field in 2025 & a 5-hit game at Northwestern in 2023. As a high school senior, he batted .511 with a .596 OBP. #BoilerUp #LongLiveSpring 5️⃣
