Twenty-five years ago, the doctors in a Mississippi NICU saw a two-pound baby with a 1% chance to survive.

Tonight, that same 1% is standing on the podium in Santa Clara as a Super Bowl Champion.

Born four months premature and weighing just over two pounds, Derick Hall entered the world without a heartbeat.

His mother, Stacy, was told he would likely spend his life in a vegetative state, but she refused to sign the "Do Not Resuscitate" order and fought for every second of his life.

From five months on a ventilator to battle-testing his lungs through severe asthma on the youth football fields of Gulfport, every step of Hall's journey has been a masterclass in defying the impossible.

That lifelong struggle culminated under the bright lights of Super Bowl LX.

As the Seahawks' defense suffocated the Patriots' comeback attempt, #58 was the relentless engine in the middle, recording 2 sacks and a forced fumble that swung the momentum for good.

The baby who was once too small for a car seat is now the man lifting the Lombardi Trophy in front of the world, proving that a 1% chance is all you need if you have 100% resolve.
