“The work and labour of my parents has shaped the way I see my own practice and the way I see the world and what surrounds me” ​

Based in Lima, Peru, Pierina Másquez Limo (pierinamasquez) makes installations, soft sculptures, ceramics and drawings that investigate how female
desire manifests in everyday life. She explores the gestures of care and repetition that shape daily routines, as well as how they intersect with class, memory, and the politics of visibility. Through this work, she engages deeply with feminist imaginaries as survival strategies, and with storytelling as a tender, collective form of resistance. ​

Pierina is one of the talents featured in the Rabanne Talents program. Rabanne and Gasworks London come together to inspire and support emerging artists through dialogue and the dissemination of content.​​
