Most people think thrifting is about luck.
It isn’t.

This little sun sculpture? I found it at a yard sale for $30.
It was dusty. It was sitting on a folding table next to mismatched mugs.
Nothing about it screamed “worth anything.”

But I bought it anyway — not because I liked it, but because I recognized it.

A few weeks later, I sold it for $1,000.
That sale paid my mortgage that month.

Here’s the part no one talks about:
The money wasn’t in the object — it was in the knowledge.
