## Caption

NC State threw everything at Tomas Hut in the dying embers of its ACC quarterfinal matchup against Syracuse. His nine saves held the Wolfpack scoreless, helping the Orange advance to the semifinal of the ACC Tournament to face SMU.

But surprisingly, Syracuse was pummeled by the Mustangs 5-1 in Hut’s worst performance of the season.

However, it doesn’t encompass how well Hut has performed this season. An All-ACC Third Team Honoree, Hut’s performances will go hand and hand with Syracuse’s chances of reaching the College Cup for the first time since 2023, which begins tonight against Hofstra.
