🇨🇦 The Joffrey Canada Workshop is coming to Toronto THIS WEEKEND, February 14–15, 2026, bringing two high-energy days of movement, versatility, and artistry! Designed for dancers of all backgrounds, this immersive experience challenges technique, expands range, and invites artists to explore their individuality across multiple styles.⁠

Faculty member Christian Burse christian_burse brings her Texas roots and powerful contemporary voice into the studio. Born in Austin, Texas, Christian began her dance journey at just two years old and completed her early training at RISE Dance Company, receiving a diverse and comprehensive dance education. She continued her studies at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas and Dance Industry Performing Arts Center, and further refined her artistry through summer intensives at the COMPLEXIONS Academy and The Juilliard School. A recipient of awards from The National YoungArts Foundation and named a 2020/2021 Texas Young Master, Christian joined Complexions Contemporary Ballet in 2021, bringing professional insight, athleticism, and artistry to every class she leads.⁠

Throughout the weekend, dancers will train in Contemporary Modern, Contemporary Ballet, Theater Jazz, and Hip Hop, while being considered for acceptance and merit-based scholarships to our 2026 Summer Intensives and our NYC Pre-Professional Trainee Program.⁠
