In 1985, guests aboard the Universal Studios (Tour) Hollywood took a leisurely cruise through Colonial Street, a classic slice of small town America used for films like To Kill a Mockingbird and Harvey, plus the beloved Cleaver home from Leave It to Beaver.

In later years, the same street was transformed into Wisteria Lane for ABC’s Desperate Housewives, proving just how timeless this backlot neighborhood really is. And most recently, Colonial Street came full circle with The ’Burbs returning as a TV series, inspired by the original Tom Hanks film released in 1989.
