## Caption

I’m eyeing the exact placement of the turn, the moment of initiation. I let my weight move forward, to slice through the snow. 

It is gentle and forceful all at once, grace and power in equal parts. I’m horizontal, yet still standing. The most simple movement is also the most complex.

Time slows and thoughts vanish. I am completely present in this one movement.
