Flowers for JoJo is a short reflection from my time spent Truffle Hunting in the Willamette Valley in 2024, which included a meal and guided tour with firstnaturetours domainewillamette and gowillamettevalley during my time working for agencytourismmarketing who arranged and coordinated the experience.

It’s a thank you letter to Joey, a prize-winning truffle hunting dog who I was fortunate enough to be guided by on this experience. She was the hero that day, running through the forest and keeping morale high. This is for Joey, and for all the hunters (dog and pig alike).
