Identity Rebuilding Across Disciplines is a SO Live speaker series exploring how different fields understand identity formation and reconstruction after major life disruption. Drawing from psychology, rehabilitation science, disability studies, religion/spirituality and more. 

Tom will be discussing flourishing – living the best life with what you have – after stroke, aphasia and brain injury. He’ll use practical philosophy – which is simply “practicing the art of living” – as a guide to flourishing. These time-tested principles form the basis for many current-day interventions.
