The easiest BEST royal icing!!! 

You will feel like a professional baker and these Valentine’s Day patterns are a cute ! 

Sift together 4 cups icing sugar with 3 tbsp meringue powder 

Add 8 tbsp room temperature water and whisk in stand mixer for about 2 minutes 

Icing will be the right consistency if when you lift the whisk, it takes about 5 seconds to smooth out into the rest of the icing 

If too thick, add a bit more water. If too thin, add a bit more powdered sugar 

Mix in your icing and add to piping bag or bottle to decorate
