Finally posting this whole thing. A little bit different composition for me but I like the feelings it’s giving me. 
“Morning Coffee” 12x16 inches, acrylic gouache and ink on paper. 

I’ve been working on a couple exhibition proposals this month and it’s forcing me to write about my own paintings the way I would have in my college art history classes. I’m not a fan. 🥴 It feels pretentious. But it’s also helping me to identify themes, why I like to paint them, and in the end, that’ll probably give me more ideas? If you’re an art lover, are an artist’s themes/meaning behind the art you like important to you? Like, do you actually like reading about it?? Saying yes absolutely does NOT mean I’ll be subjecting you to my art proposal writings, so don’t worry.
