Meet three Newhouse master’s students who stayed at Syracuse to pursue their graduate degrees—made possible by the Forever Orange Scholarship. Each student found their path forward through a program that provides half tuition for Syracuse graduates continuing their education.

🟠  Kyra Wood '25, G'26 (Broadcast and Digital Journalism): Former Syracuse women's basketball player now focusing fully on the journalism career she put on hold during her athletic journey.

🟠  Kelsey Quinn Leary '25, G'26 (Multimedia, Photo and Design): Art photography graduate diving into graphic design and real-world experiences.

🟠  Ava Francis Piro ’25 G’26 (Bandier Music Business): Pursuing the opportunities and experiences as part of the inaugural music business master’s program class. 

The Forever Orange Scholarship provides half of the tuition for students who enroll full-time in a qualifying graduate degree or certificate program at Syracuse University. The scholarship is automatically available to all Class of 2026 graduating Syracuse University seniors who are eligible for admission—no separate scholarship application is needed. Graduating seniors who have already been admitted to a qualifying graduate program are also eligible.
