For a few weeks while in isolation, many of us did not watch any baseball or softball.  Maybe it was a week or few days ago, that some of us began watching replays of Babe Ruth Baseball, Cal Ripken Baseball and Babe Ruth Softball games, and many of us were surprised by our reactions.  

We were transfixed, falling in love with the games of baseball and softball all over again. 

The camaraderie of the players, the competitiveness of the game, the life lessons learned, and the way families and fans came together to support our players has brought some of us back to all the reasons we love Babe Ruth League and the many valuable participation benefits it provides our kids.  It is making us long to get back out on the field and participate in these beloved games.  

Simple, yet fun and educational, games that anyone can pick up and play.

Games that anyone can enjoy, and games that everyone can be united by.

We all are aware of the social isolation that has taken over our lives – and the sense of missing out on the ability to enjoy our favorite things, especially youth baseball and softball.

For now, we are all just going to have to be a little brave.  We are here. You are here. We are in this together. Babe Ruth League and the games of baseball and softball will be back – stronger and better than before. 

Please keep your focus on the guidelines set by your Local, State and Federal governments to make sure we are all committed to doing the best we can for the safety and well-being of everyone involved.  #strongertogether #baberuthleague #baberuthsoftball #baberuthbaseball
