“Do you think you’re going to hell, Mr. Lyons?” Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-N.J.) asked ICE director Todd Lyons at a U.S. House Homeland Security Committee oversight hearing Tuesday. McIver accused the director of having “so much blood” on his hands. The N.J. congresswoman currently faces three felony counts from a May 2025 confrontation at an ICE detention facility in Newark.
