When Jerry S. Rawls made a transformational $25 million gift to Texas Tech in 2001, he did so with a simple goal: create opportunity for and impact as many students as possible. Twenty-five years later, that vision continues to guide the Rawls College of Business.

From record enrollment and expanded academic programs to world-class faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and more than 1,300 scholarships, his investment has helped elevate the Rawls College into the national conversation on business education. What began as a generous gift has grown into a tradition of philanthropy, inspiring alumni and partners to invest in future generations of business leaders.

At the Jerry S. Rawls 25th Celebration, we honored a legacy built on pride, gratitude, and optimism for the future. Because of Jerry Rawls’ vision, thousands of students have been empowered to pursue their dreams, and the momentum he created continues to move the Rawls College forward.
