Celebrating today’s #wlfeowednesday with the sweetest senior duo, @lucypsimon & @aymee_martinez!🍊🌷✨

“I met my best friend on the very first day of college in biology freshman year, and within a week we somehow decided to become roommates. From that moment on, everything just clicked. Biology gave us our friendship, but ADPi truly solidified it. After doing continued open bids second semester, our lives became completely intertwined. From late nights studying for our premed classes at the house and dinners before every chapter, to late-night walks that always ended with a stop at the pi palace for water, football games with our friends, having the best time at barge during recruitment, pool jump before senior year, getting ready side by side for every date event, and planning on grad pictures together, we built a home in each other and in ADPi. Now 4 years later we’re about to graduate still living together, in the same major, the same job, the same sorority, chasing the same dream of becoming doctors. Sharing every part of this journey has made my ADPi experience unforgettable, and I wouldn’t have wanted to do it without her.”
- Aymee Martinez

“ADPi has been such a light in my life! Coming in as a little baby freshman, it made campus feel so much smaller and a lot less intimidating. But more than that, it has carried me through every high and low in the years that followed, through the friendships and the constant sense of support! From volunteering side by side, to getting brunch after a date event, to getting loud and proud in the student section, to our quiet board game nights in our apartment and just experiencing everything together, I know these are the days we’ll hold on to forever. I’m so sad to see my time at the Delta chapter come to an end because I know I’ll miss it (and them) more than I can put into words - but the best part is, we’ll always know where home is.”
