The gospel artist posted the flyer with the song and a “NOPE 👎🏿” written across his picture to inform the public that he will no longer be attending the Celebration of Gospel event scheduled for February 28th.

Social media users laughed at the post, saying it was a funny way to make the annoucement. However, earnestpugh made a follow up video explaining that the post wasn’t intended to throw shade. 

It was created to safeguard his brand and avoid disappointing supporters or considering him a “no-show” if they attended the event expecting him to perform based on the flyer…and he wasn’t there.
