Several members of the men’s hockey team — including Connor McDavid, Sidney Crosby, and Brad Marchand — were spotted riding a packed Milan subway during the Olympics, with some even opting to take the stairs instead of the escalator.

After the moment started making headlines, Crosby reacted with a smile, telling Radio-Canada, “I don’t know why it’s a big deal we took public transportation, but I think it was just a good opportunity to be together as a group regardless of how we got there.”
