Sam Ruthe keeps cooking👨‍🍳

Last night, he ran 3:52.46 for the mile at soundrunning Invite for a 7th place finish against a mostly pro field. (Reigning Olympic 1500m gold medalist Cole Hocker took the win with an American Record 3:45.94).

Ruthe’s performance comes after his blazing 3:48.88 mile (U18 World Record) at the BU Terrier Invite two weeks ago. 

Next Sunday, 2/22 at the saucony Battle for Boston, Ruthe is stepping up in distance to the 3K and has indicated he is chasing the last New Zealand U20 middle-distance record he doesn’t own.
