🚢 Türkiye sends drillship to Somalia for 1st overseas mission

⚓ Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar said the drill ship Cagri Bey was dispatched to Somalia for its first mission

📌 Addressing a ceremony in Mersin for the vessel’s departure, Bayraktar said Türkiye’s first well in the region was named Curad-1, which in Somali is a name given to a newborn baby

📍 According to him, the Cagri Bey will reach the well site in April and begin deep-sea drilling operations
