when i wrote this song about you years ago i wanted you and the world to know on good or bad days i still choose you! I’m so proud of where our relationship started to where it is now . This song is a journal entry on how we fought tooth and nail to get here. PSA to the ladies it’s not always about making him change who he is . I came in our relationship not realizing how much work i actually needed to do . I thought i had healed enough. I done been to therapy since i was 12. I been got my diagnosis, been medicated , be hospitalized. Felt like i knew it all and i did the work . I loved being stuck in my ways because it made me feel like i had control over how someone could treat me . Wasn’t until we started going to counseling to work through our issues that i realized i needed to change too. Just in different ways . 
I love performing this song to you because it’s a constant reminder that i’ve changed for him as much as he’s changed for me . I watched him tackle sobriety, watched him become a pillar in his family and in the community, watched him become super dad, watched him embrace his own dad . He walked me through the scariest times of my life like a man. Miscarriage, Pregnancy! Postpartum! Parenthood! I got a front row seat to his metamorphosis and it inspires me to wake up and be better in the face of adversity. I never ever cared about getting older i always felt like i had nun to look forward to until i met this man and our son!!!! Now im ready to be 124 fck it!!!! Our first valentines being married!!! today i’m feeling #grateful #reflective #blessed :p
