How many foreigners are actually living in Korea? 🌏

According to the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, as of November 1, 2024, there are 2,583,626 foreign residents in Korea.

That includes people working here, students who came to study, and those who moved here through marriage.

And what’s interesting? Those three groups have been steadily growing every year.

Region-wise, most foreigners live in Gyeonggi-do, followed by Seoul, Chungnam, and Incheon.

특히 근로자, 유학생, 결혼이민자 이 세 카테고리는 해마다 꾸준히 증가 추세라고 해요.

지역별로 보면 경기도에 가장 많이 거주하고 있고, 그 다음이 서울, 충남, 인천 순입니다.
