A/S/L? 3 year old gray wolf, female, around LA County. Seeking a mate who loves to travel, dine on fresh meat, and is ready to start a family. 🐾💕

This far-roaming lone wolf known to biologists as BEY03F, nicknamed Valentine by some of her adoring fans, has captured the hearts of many. 

The love for her is understandable — "Valentine" was spotted in Los Angeles County just last weekend, making her the first gray wolf seen in LA County in 100 years. 

Her incredible journey across the state has taken her hundreds of miles from the Lake Tahoe region all the way to LA County. Along the way she has braved numerous roads and highways. 

That's why our wildlife connectivity work is so important. 

Wolves often roam hundreds of miles in search of a mate, and it shouldn’t cost them their lives. 

Please help spread the word about her travels so folks in the region can be extra cautious on the roadways where she may roam. 

We wish her safety and luck in her search for a mate — hopefully one who loves adventure as much as she does! 💖
