99.9% OF THE TIME AS THE VELO GOES UP☝🏽HITTERS HAVE A TENDENCY TO MISS UNDER👇🏽 the ball. In other words when that 85mph middle middle fastball that you crush, is in that same exact location at 95mph… even if we’re “on time” we tend to miss under it (foul tip it straight back or swing and miss). Why is that🤔 Does the higher velocity and spin rate make the ball appear to stay on plane longer which affects both our vision and depth perception🤷🏻‍♂️ I think that could definitely be a part of it, but whats the fix and/or how can I be certain thats the issue🤔 One suggestion or “checkpoint” to keep an eye on is if we have any past video of you slugging high velo, try overlapping that video with another video of you missing under, and then look at your hand height at launch👀(not your hand height in your set up but when you actually launch the bat). Often times as hitters when we’re operating at game speed, its challenging to feel an inch of difference in hand height, however an inch can be the difference between squaring up a ball or not. Here’s a few swings by MY GUYYS🤩 harleygoodner7 and jeff_lougee from dukebase 😈⚾️📈 #baseball #college #duke #hit #seeds
