Guo Jiakun, China’s foreign ministry spokesperson, has confirmed China is extending its visa waiver policy to include UK and Canadian citizens.⁣

From February 17, people from the two countries will be exempt from needing a visa to enter China and stay for up to 30 days for business, tourism, family and friends visits.⁣

The policy will remain in place until December 31, 2026.⁣
