Russia and Ukraine exchanged heavy aerial attacks over the past day, with both sides reporting large-scale drone and missile operations.⁣

Ukrainian authorities said at least 13 people were injured in Russian strikes across several regions. Ukraine’s Air Force reported that Russia launched hypersonic, ballistic and cruise missiles, along with 62 drones. Ukrainian forces said they downed most of the drones and two missiles, though several strikes hit eight locations, causing damage and power outages in multiple regions.⁣

Regional officials reported injuries in Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy and Kherson oblasts. Parts of Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy and Odesa regions were left without electricity.⁣

Meanwhile, Russia has said it downed Ukrainian drones targeting its territory, including Moscow.⁣

Belgorod authorities say the attack caused serious damage to energy infrastructure, leaving parts of the regional center without heat and electricity.⁣

Ukrainian drones also targeted Bryansk and the surrounding region, focusing on energy facilities.⁣

Officials described the assault — involving up to 200 drones — as the most massive attack since the conflict began.⁣

The Kremlin said on Monday that what it called "the main issues" would be discussed in peace talks on Ukraine due to be held in Geneva this week, including territory.⁣

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Putin aide Vladimir Medinsky, military intelligence chief Igor Kostyukov, and special envoy Kirill Dmitriev would take part in the talks between Russia, Ukraine and the United States.⁣
