I don't even know where to begin 😔. While most of the world was celebrating Valentines Day, we were mouring the loss of our fighter Landen. Not only was Landen our fighter, he was like a son, he was a brother, he was an inspiration & a beacon of light. But somewhere along the way he was so depressed & in the moment he felt it was best if he were no longer here. I'm sorry, I'm sorry I did not call to check in this week. I'm sorry you were so sad you felt it was best to leave. But now we are torn. I'm torn, my heart is broken, my soul itself feels broke. Landen just turned 15, we liked the same anime, he bought me flowers after my fights and mimiced me when we trained. He is the only boxer I have ever let name themselves after me. He said, can my nickname be Dark Prince since you are the Dark Menace? With the biggest smile on my face I said absolutely. Today I couldn't get out of bed, wondering what could I have done to stop this. Please pray for his mother Kristen & his family. Please pray for our boxing team & all the fighters who are like his brothers. Just speaking from my heart, I'm truly heartbroken 💔 & that's just what it is 😔. Pay attention to your loved ones, ask your kids are they ok. The world is tough, these relationships that these kids have, they think they are the most important thing in the world. And when they end they think it's the end of the world, but their are many fish in the sea. Make sure your kids know that, make sure your kids walk in their confidence. Love others, but most importantly love yourself 🙏🏿. I feel lost without him, & I'm not ashamed to admit my heart is broken & I feel an unbearable emptiness inside. But still, I know God is using me to be a light in these teenagers lives. I will dedicated my life to Landen & to God & I will continue to be his role model ❤️.
