Last October, JCC Chicago planted over 500 daffodils to create a memorial garden in honor of the 1.5 million children who died during the Holocaust. Join the J to see the garden in bloom, listen to a Holocaust survivor’s story and a #ViolinsofHopeChicago performance, a private collection of violins, violas and cellos all collected since the end of WWII belonging to Jews before and during the war. This program is FREE and in partnership with rjd_juf, and Holocaust Community Services at CJESeniorLife. Sun., April 23, 11am at Bernard Weinger JCC in Northbrook.
