Rusty and Wyatte S. have been documenting their father-son Mk4 Roadster build on their YouTube channel, Sink Family Garage. 

After serving in the Coast Guard for 26 years, it was important for Rusty to find a way to connect with his son. He proposed a car build with Wyatte, and when given the choice of restoring a car or building a Factory Five Roadster, Wyatte picked the Mk4!

"Most importantly, this project has been far more than just building a car — it’s been about rebuilding time together," wrote Rusty. "Honestly, it’s the best thing we’ve ever done together, and we’re having so much fun every step of the way."
