Temple Sheriff’s Station is currently conducting an investigation in the city of South El Monte.

Rush Street, west of Tyler Avenue, will be closed to all vehicle traffic for the foreseeable future. The roadway is expected to remain blocked for several hours while Temple Station deputies safely conduct their investigation.

We ask that motorists avoid the area, plan alternate routes, and follow all directions from Temple Station deputies and traffic control personnel on scene. Your cooperation helps ensure the safety of our community and our deputies.
