Some people are apparently planning a 'slow roll' this Saturday between Calgary and Edmonton. Just a heads up in case anyone is planning on using these routes with a schedule.

They will be gathering at Deerfoot City in Calgary and Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre in Edmonton, converging at Peters' Drive-In in Red Deer.

"A traffic "slow roll" by non-emergency vehicles refers to a coordinated, deliberate tactic where a group of vehicles drives slowly—often well below the posted speed limit—to intentionally slow down, pace, or completely block traffic on a road or highway. While authorized rolling roadblocks are used for construction, unauthorized slow rolls are primarily used as a form of protest, demonstration, or convoy to send a message."
