Audi made big waves in September with the reveal of the Concept C, a look at a future electric sports car that executives hope will lead its future lineup forward much in the way the first TT once did. Porsche, a partner on development of the platform, has since reportedly begun reconsidering its own electric sports car. Fortunately for enthusiasts, it seems that a cancellation of Porsche's EV would not necessarily be a concern for the related performance product that Audi has already promised.
