One of Florida State’s most underrated acquisitions in the transfer portal could be East Carolina tight end Desirrio Riles.

The Jacksonville, Florida, native had a productive 2025 season for the Pirates, where he recorded 28 receptions for 362 yards and two touchdowns (according to ESPN Stats and Information). Riles could serve as a solid Randy Pittman-type replacement, since he had 23 receptions for 245 total yards and five total touchdowns last year.

Head football coach Mike Norvell will be handling play calling duties for the Seminoles in 2026, and there are times where he likes using two tight end sets.
