Meet career coach Casey Ptacek, this week’s #WhyMoody feature! 

Casey received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas State and a master’s degree in higher education administration from Fort Hays State University. This is her third year at utaustintx and her first with texasmoody. 

Her favorite part about working for #TEXASMoody is the people. “You can tell everyone at Moody places students at the forefront of their decision-making, which is something I strongly believe in as an educator.” 

Her favorite spot on campus is Studio 6B in the CMB, and her favorite treat is a strawberry Pop-Tart from Cappy’s. 

Casey loves interacting with students and encourages them to network and talk with others about their unique interests. “The students at Moody College are the most creative, ambitious and fun to be around. They inspire me and remind me that it’s important to explore my creative side as a professional.”
