Woke up this morning with a massive smile on my face. Zara and Carmen are two young fencers who decided to write a school report on me 🥺. To me this is bigger than any medal I can ever win. Inspiring a new generation of kids and being a role model is one of the best feelings about being an athlete. Winning and losing don’t define us it’s the legacy we leave after we are done fencing. I hope you girls got a A++ for this project. Thank you Ally and Zara for choosing me and for all the amazing words and effort you put in to this project.
