Bun B just shared that his wife, Queenie, is officially cancer free and the testimony is powerful.

Last June, during a routine yearly checkup, Queenie was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. Following the guidance of their PCP, they remained within the Methodist system, beginning chemotherapy in July and completing it in December.

Through pain, poison, exhaustion, neuropathy, and more she never wavered. She showed up for her family. She showed up for herself. No self-pity. No surrender. Just faith and fight.

After surgery in early January, today marks the victory: cancer free.

Bun B called her his best friend, wife, partner, lover, business partner, but most importantly, his hero.

Let this be your reminder: schedule your yearly checkups. Early detection saves lives.

Now let’s give it up for a cancer-free Queenie. 🎉🎗️
