JUST IN: Police say 42-year-old Tesfa Tucker was arrested for attacking a man he knew with a knife in the entryway of the Putnam Gardens apartment complex on Putnam Avenue. 

The 27-year-old Central Islip victim was hospitalized with serious injuries. Tucker, who lives in the complex, is charged with two counts of first-degree assault and multiple weapon charges and is set to be arraigned Thursday.
