In 2025, “Ki One” was crowned one of the world’s best whiskies — and now it’s making waves again.

One of its lineup, “Unicorn,” took home IWSC 2025 Best Worldwide Whisky, and “Signature” grabbed ‘Best of Class’ at SFWSC 2025. That’s two out of the world’s top three spirits competitions recognizing Ki One (kionedistillery) as world-class. 

FYI, Ki One is the fastest whisky distillery ever to score a double crown. 🥃🔥

And it doesn’t stop there. At WWA 2026 — one of the most prestigious whisky awards — Ki One won “Best Korean Single Malt.” On top of that, at ICONS OF WHISKY 2026, it was named Craft Producer of the Year. Basically? They’re collecting trophies at this point.

Korea used to be known for soju, and honestly, we were pretty new to the whisky game. Professional distilleries only started popping up recently. But Ki One is flipping that narrative.

Fun fact: “Ki One (기원)” means both Origin and Wish. So here’s to Ki One — becoming the origin of Korean whisky and the wish we’ve all been waiting to see come true. ✨🥃

2025년, ‘기원 (kionedistillery)’이 세계 최고의 위스키로 주목받았었죠. 그리고 지금, 다시 한 번 존재감을 제대로 보여주고 있습니다.

소주로 더 잘 알려졌던 한국. 위스키 분야에서는 비교적 늦게 출발한 게 사실이지만, 기원이 그 판을 다시 쓰는 중입니다.🥃✨
