Brawley Wildcats Advance in Playoff Battle Over Lincoln

The Brawley Wildcats found themselves in a tight, evenly matched battle before momentum swung their way in the second half.

🔹 58th Minute – Kaylene Ojeda (11th Grade) broke the deadlock, finishing a determined play to make it 1-0 Wildcats.
🔹 62nd Minute – April Torres followed up just four minutes later, extending the lead to 2-0 and igniting the crowd.

Lincoln’s Makayla Day (#11) answered late to cut the score to 2-1, and the Hornets pushed aggressively, firing shots on goal in true playoff fashion.

On a crucial penalty situation, Brawley stayed composed. The penalty was converted with 15 minutes remaining, sealing the Wildcats’ control and securing the win.
