@dangerusswilson had some great words earlier in the week when asked about Trevor.

I had a similar intro to Trev. I met him at an @elite11 regional almost exactly 10 years ago. He said “I hear you’re gonna be the best QB developer the world has ever seen”. I laughed and said “hi. What’s your name?”

That was Trevor. He didn’t want to waste time with anyone and talk about BS. He didn’t believe in small talk or improving gradually. He wanted to help Pull greatness out of everyone.

After he responded with his name and what he did for a living, he asked me if I would train QBs for the upcoming NFL draft at @team_exos. He said I could change the way the position is coached and he wanted to help teach me how to pull greatness out of young men. I believed him

That same year I was playing for the Bears and dealing with a tough situation. He changed my entire perspective on it and introduced me to the idea of neutral thinking. When he wrote his first book he asked if I’d read it and give feedback. A few days later I received a giant stack of paper and a highlighter in the mail. It was an inch thick and the entire book typed out on 8x11 paper. Just a note on it said “make me better bro”.

Trevor believes that ‘you don’t have to be sick to get better’.
He believes that ‘choice is an ‘elusion’.
He believes that ‘how we talk to ourselves is significantly more important than how others talk to us’.
He believes the ‘best is ahead’.
Always.

Trevor is the most powerfully positive person I’ve ever met. He has stood in front of countless pro/college sports teams, the most successful business leaders in the world and the most elite Special Forces units. And he has challenged all of them to get better.

Trevor will live on through his content online, his books (he just finished his 2nd) and his teachings and studies. But he lives on through people like me. People who were lucky enough to have a real relationship with him and were challenged and taught to improve everyday.
He will live on through us because so much of what we believe, what we teach and what we spend everyday doing was built on a foundation laid by Trev. Mine was.
I’ll see you again Bro.
