#TSRUpdatez: More details have been released surrounding #LilPoppa’s death. According to tmz_tv, the rapper was involved in a single-car accident on Interstate 85 south of Hapeville before calling his manager for guidance. Authorities say the car remained drivable after the crash.

The manager arranged to meet Lil Poppa at a nearby Hilton Hotel parking lot. Hapeville Police Chief Bruce Hedley said the rapper stayed inside his car while speaking to the manager through the rolled-down window. The content of their conversation has not been disclosed. At some point during the encounter, Lil Poppa reportedly produced a handgun and shot himself. An off-duty officer working at the hotel called 911, according to reports.
