## Caption

👏🏾Officially welcoming Grammy Award winning songwriter and music artist, Sevyn Streeter, to the HBCU family as a student at Bethune- Cookman University. As she continues her career in the music industry, she announced to her social following that she would be continuing her family legacy as a Wildcat , through the the BCU Global (online program) . 

Streeter, who has written hit songs for artists including Chris Brown, Tamar Braxton, and Fantasia to name a few, 
 posted a video of her introduction to campus with a caption that states:

“All my life I’ve been surround by #HBCU love and growing up in FLORIDA half of my family either attended #Famu or #BCU (Sunday dinners were lit 😂IYKYK) ….& all my life I’ve admired them & dreamt of attending one myself! Since I was a little girl my mother kstreet063 my grandmother #SallieStreeter & so many of cousins have forever been loud & proud of their love & experience at “BETHUNE COOKMAN UNIVERSITY” and now I get to join my family’s legacy through bcuglobal (they’re online degree program🖥️). I’ve had a long standing relationship with the school for quite some time….Ive taught master classes here, performed at homecoming’s, judged talent shows & attended more football games than I could count!  Education & adding more tools to my tool-belt is what gets me goiiiin!!!!“
