Restoring power through innovation and partnership ⚡🏡

Jamaica Public Service (JPS) CEO and President Hugh Grant thanks residents of Bethel Town for their warm welcome and reiterated that the JPS Teams will continue to work until the last customer is restored. This last phase of restoration is difficult, the treacherous terrain, the widespread damage to the electricity grid, however, the JPS teams are committed to getting the job done efficiently and safely. 

Bethel Town is now home to the third EMPG across the parishes of St. Elizabeth and Westmoreland. The unit represents a temporary yet innovative solution designed to restore much needed electricity to community’s residents and entrepreneurs while JPS continues rebuilding its main infrastructure.

Residents are being strongly urged to have a licensed electrician assess their properties to ensure they meet the required safety standards and can safely receive electricity.
