On this 4th day of Ramadan, we want to pause and share something hopeful 💜

Yesterday, we received an emergency call from a young woman whose life had been shaped by trauma, fear, and memories no child should ever have to carry - today, by Allah’s mercy and your support, her story is beginning to shift.

Here’s what we’ve already done within 24 hours: 

1. We’ve connect a trauma-informed therapist who understands the depth of what she has survived. For the first time in a long time, she has a space where she can speak without fear, cry without shame, and process the memories that once felt unbearable. Healing is not linear, but she is ready to show up for it with courage every single week. 

2. We have also been touring apartments with her, walking side by side through spaces that represent far more than walls and windows. Each door we open is a reminder that safety is possible, that stability can exist, and that she deserves a place where she can finally exhale.

3. Before everything she endured, she had a dream of becoming a lawyer. Not for recognition, but because she knew what it felt like to need someone to stand beside you and say your voice matters. That dream never disappeared. It was simply buried beneath survival and trauma.

Every prayer you make, every donation you give, every message of encouragement you send has helped carry her to this point. You may never meet her, but please know this: you are part of her healing. You are part of her stability. You are part of her future.
