Leigh-Anne Pinnock confirmed that she, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall reached out to Jesy Nelson after her twins were diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 during an interview on Heart Breakfast. 

The Little Mix members have not been in regular communication since Nelson left the group in December 2020. Pinnock called Nelson “really brave” for sharing her story in the new Prime Video docuseries ‘Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix.’
